Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel for Motor Vehicles: the two topics we delved into during the February Training Academy, thanks to the collaboration with the German leader ZF and its historic brand SACHS.
The Training Academy consists of training and updating courses aimed at workshops, mechanics, and body shops looking to specialize in car components and the latest intervention techniques. During the training sessions held from February 6th to 9th, thanks to Lupo’s collaboration with ZF, we got a better understanding of clutch components and the self-adjusting SACHS Xtend clutch. We identified and diagnosed faults, and also used special tools.
Regarding the dual mass flywheel, we deepened our knowledge of its structure and functioning, how to measure play on SACHS dual mass flywheels, analyzed some case studies, and discussed the latest innovations.
ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a German multinational company, produces components for the transportation industry and collaborated with us by bringing its team from the long-standing SACHS brand, which specializes in cutting-edge clutches and high-value shock absorbers.
We thank the participants of this edition and our collaborators for their essential contribution to the success of these training sessions.
